Spring Isolator For Minimized Shock
A spring isolator is used to minimize shock, noise, and vibration transmission caused by industrial, mechanical and process equipment within a building structure. Spring isolators may be housed or free-standing. A housed spring isolator consists of a steel spring and load cap housed in a cast semi-steel or aluminum assembly. On the other hand, a free-standing spring isolator is without a housing assembly and consists of laterally stable steel springs, designed to provide at least 50% overload capacity.
Isolation Technology, Inc. offers vibration spring isolators with bottom sound pad for maximum noise and vibration reduction. The spring isolators are available with chrome vanadium springs for shock applications.
