Vibration Isolation Rails

Isolation Technology Inc. designs and manufactures custom vibration rails for cooling tower applications. Manufactured utilizing continuous structural steel support members, our cost effective product offers such benefits as ease of installation and minimal maintenance. Designs are also available for more complex high wind load, seismic and weatherproof applications.

Material Specifications:

The top support member is to be structural steel channel, 6 " in dept, minimum 8.2 lbs. per lineal foot. Bottom plate is to be 1.4 " x 3.5" bar stock, minimum 3.4 ibs. per lineal foot.

Isolation springs are to be oiled tempered steel; spring ends are to be square cut and ground and shot peened per engineers and manufacturers recommendation.

All Isolation rail assembly hardware is to be zinc plated.

Entire isolation rail assembly hardware is to be painted with one coat of red oxide primer shot paint. ( Grey oxide primer shop paint also available). Alternatively, weatherproofed assembly is available utilizing zinc metalizing process instead of paint.

These specifications apply to cooling tower support, and can easily be modified for such applications as rooftop air conditioners, chillers, small tank or base mounted compressors. Click the link below to contact us for more information.
